Get the site running

Guide, tags, and system docs match the in-app help.

Guide First run, each admin page, and how Blade themes work. Tags @@vod directives, loop args, and plugin tags — same as the admin wizard. System PHP / MySQL / nginx, rewrite, cron, script and Docker installs.

The theme decides how the site looks. Categories and videos fill the library. See Admin, Themes, and Tags.

Suggested first steps

  1. Settings: site name, keywords, short intro.
  2. Categories: movies, series, shows. Categories drive lists and filters.
  3. Videos by hand, or ingest a feed in Collect.
  4. Players: confirm play URLs work. Lines and parsers live here.
  5. Open the front site. If it looks stale, clear cache.
  6. High traffic? Turn on static HTML to write public/html. Comics, galleries, novels, and live TV toggle in Plugins.

Demo data already has categories and videos. An empty site starts from categories. Missing sidebar items mean the account has no permission.
